LOT 1: Popular to Easy listening 12" Vinyl 33rpm records
Including the records from 32 box sets, and 54 double gatefolds, there are
1728 records in this lot. They are listed on 2 pages:
Artists beginning the letters B through to L, and
Artists beginning the letters M through to Z.
ALL records have been visually graded by a top expert, many thousands of others were thrown away that did not meet a good playing standard, and the remainder are listed here. You will notice there are Prices in USD alongside each item. I have only left the prices there to show the prices they were previously listed for on a website. Those prices were considered sensible (and not overboard) asking prices, as most of the clients were overseas buyers and had to pay freight as well. So much work has been done already with regards sorting and grading these records, and all should be in acceptable condition for selling on.
The artists beginning with the letter 'A' were sold at public auction, but that was a big error, because the price obtained reflected what would be normally obtained for an ungraded run of the mill lot. The actual number of records given are quite accurate and would be within one or two of 1728, being most likely 4 or 5 more.
LOT 2: Southern Library of Recorded Music Catalogue & Records
72 x 10", 78rpm vinyl records and 148 page
Catalogue. The 165 x 240mm catalogue has name 'Glynn Tucker' in handwriting on cover and was obviously issued to the N.Z.B.C. - see image on
details page
The catalogue is for double sided 10" 78 r.p.m., 12" 33 r.p.m. and 7" 45 r.p.m. records and tapes. The 72 records (listed on the
details page) total about 1/6th of those listed in the catalogue. All records are in a brown paper sleeve with opaque viewing center as in image.
The musical items seem to be lead-ins and endings for I think radio programmes and cover a large variety of moods and atmospheres etc.

LOT 4: 2100 x 7" 45r.p.m Graded Records
Artists beginning 1 to F
Artists beginning G to O
Artists beginning P to S
Artists beginning T to Z
There are 2100 records in this Lot (plus or minus 2 or 3). All visually graded. Occasionally a low graded record is included because there is some value in the rarity or the label. Records were graded also with collectors in mind, as many collectors often require NZ pressings of records. Grading details in the chart above. The majority or nearly all are used, and there are often plain paper sleeves where shop sleeve were missing. A box of used printed sleeves in various condition is also included. There are very few high valued records in this Lot, but on the other hand there should be no records that need discarding, as all unkeepable have already been discarded.
